Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer coordinates and oversees all aspects of the company's medical affairs, research, and practice. This position reports directly to the CEO. Ideal candidates for this role are visionary decision makers who are comfortable directly influencing the overall strategy of the company. Additionally, candidates should have a thorough medical background, preferably in radiology, as well as knowledge of medical law and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the company's overall medical strategy, influencing which conditions we seek to explore and treat.
• Represent the company at medical conferences and other industry events.
• Make official medical policy statements.
• Advise the board of directors in medical and regulatory affairs.
• Lead a team of talented medical and informatics researchers as they search for new breakthroughs.
• Help us drive a fundamental paradigm shift in medical diagnostics. Teaching computers to interpret scans designed for human sight is only the beginning.

Qualifications:

• An MD or PhD in medicine or a related field (radiology preferred).
• 5+ years of experience leading a team.
• Knowledge of medical regulations and relevant laws.
• Ability to formulate high-level strategic initiatives and break them down into plans of action.
• Facility with public speaking of a medical/professional nature.
